La Taberna del Puerto

La Taberna del Puerto opened on the 16th April, 1997. Its founder, and creator of the good work is our friend Martín, well known to all by this name, although his real name is Florentino. A great professional and friend to everyone, who one day had the good fortune to have the idea of opening his tavern in the emblematic marina of "Puerto Calero", Yaiza. This project had been his dream since his professional years of working in Alicante.

His fame: to make the best "paellas" rice dishes in the area, without forgetting the classic fideua dish which completes a simple cuisine where there is no lack of fresh fish, and there is an ample variety of tapas (appetizers) and salads with a selection of ingredients that characterises the mediterranean cuisine.
